I'm baaaack!!!

After a super long hiatus {involving the birth of our first child and purchasing our first home} I'm finally back to blogging!  With our busy 7 month old calling the shots these days, I won't be blogging quite as often as I would like but wanted to get back in the groove mainly to document the adventures of our sweet baby Brooks, to share some recipes, home improvement projects/tips, parties, and well...life in general!  Fun for this mama, for sure!

Our journey from newlyweds to new parents to new home owners has been quite an adjustment {fun and chaotic all at the same time!} and I look forward to jumping right in to updates on what we've been up to lately and what's to come.

Our precious bundle of joy arrived Sept 26, 2013.  I had a textbook c-section and we felt like royalty at our fantastic hospital!  We surely recommend Northside Forsyth Hospital to anyone and everyone who is or is planning on having a baby.

Brooks Sterling Bowden 
9 lbs, 2 oz, 21.5 inches long
