Friday Favorites...Oh Deer!

I just cannot seem to escape my obsession with deer antlers.  Is it growing up in the South?  Is it House Beautiful Magazine?  Southern Living?  Pinterest?  Or just me?!  Hmmmm, whatever it is, I'm still taken by them.  Just.can't.shake.it.  So my Friday Favorites post is dedicated to the ever popular, trendy yet classic deer decor!

I love these inspirational pics below!

Pumpkin Patch x 2

We visited not one but TWO pumpkin patches this year!  Hey, why not?!  Brooks loves pumpkins and you betta believe we give that child anything he loves that's not nailed down.  Ha!  The first pumpkin patch is actually a quaint little farmer's market in Marietta.  Dylan and I have been going there since we first got married and we love the vibe and the people there.  The owner even gave us a great pumpkin care tip: rub olive oil on your pumpkins to make them shine and last longer.  Cool, huh?!

So without further delay, here are some fun pics of us at Rick's Farmers Market!

The second pumpkin patch we visited was Burt's Farm in Dawsonville.  Parents, get your kids here quick if you haven't already paid a visit!  Though Halloween has come and gone, you still have time to get gorgeous pumpkins for Thanksgiving.  Remember Thanksgiving??  We need to remind the retail stores around these parts that we just entered November!! Only Christmas decorations out there now, peeps.  Though I have to admit, I'm itching to start decorating for Christmas myself!!
I believe Burt's is open through November 10th so you have a couple more days to make the trip and gallivant around.

They have super-duper sized pumpkins in all different colors and Brooks loved toddling around among them.  The BBQ is yummy and they have a great little country store where you can buy jams and pies and great fall decor.  We also rode the hayride which was a great little adventure through the woods!  We saw beautiful flowers. mountain views and even some talking pumpkins!  You gotta go check those out! :)
