Thirty Two

So, I officially turned thirty two and I gotta say, so far so good!!  I had a blast celebrating too!  To start, my sweet friend Lauren took me for a fun dinner after our Pure Barre class last week, I got pleasantly flooded with cards, texts and calls {which was super duper sweet and I'm soooo thankful!}, and my parents came up to keep Brooks so Dylan and I could go to Dahlonega for the wkend.  My heart is full to say the least.

I'll share my adventure with Dylan to one of our favorite little get aways. :)

When we arrived Friday night, we checked into our hotel then headed for dinner at Back Porch Oyster Bar.  Ooooh, it was soooo delish!! We pigged out!

The next morning, we headed to sight see and visit some of our old favorite Dahlonega spots!

First stop, Montaluce! This place has always been a fave of ours and it never disappoints!  We had an amazing lunch {notice a theme here with all the food?!} We went all out.  We got there early which was perfect because we had the place to ourselves until the mad rush of people came in at noon!

Look how beautiful this upstairs room is below!  This is where you can do vow renewals/parties which sounds right up our alley for when 10 yrs comes along!  ; )

Next, up we headed to visit Three Sisters which we totally forgot to take pictures of because we were having so much fun!  Oh well. :)

Here are a few more of a pit stop at Frogtown on our way back to the hotel.

Our second night hotel was right above a restaurant in the Daholenga square which was super convenient and literally in the middle of everything!  I really liked this painting on the wall though my iphone didn't quite capture it's coolness.

I forgot to take a photo of our meal here at Corkscrew Cafe. We've been here before and really enjoyed the live music in the back patio and the steak of course!!  How precious are these little flower arrangements on all the tables!

Sunday morning the first thing on our minds was getting home to sweet Brooks.  Oh.my.goodness we missed him!! We bee-lined back home to see this cute kid!! Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for keeping him and having a blast while we were away!

I think 32 and I will get along just fine. ; )

Easter Weekend Update!

We celebrated Easter with my family down in South Ga.  We had so much fun and enjoyed being together to celebrate our risen Savior!  We even did a little fishing and Easter egg hunting too!

Here are some fun pics!

This is hands down the most gorgeous hydrangea I've ever seen!  Flourishing beautifully!  My grandma would be so proud to see this blooming now.

Grandpa teaching Brooks to fish!!

Dylan, Taylor and Grandpa just kept reelin' em in!

Brooks, Aunt Leah and Emerson watching from Grandpa's truck.  It was so windy on the pond that day!!

Why, of course, Grandpa.  I would love to touch the slimy fish!

It's safe to say Brooks likes to touch fish!  He's a true country boy at heart.

Grandpa showing us what's up next ; )

Sweet cousins on a stroll.

We made it back to Grandma and Grandpa's for an Easter egg hunt!  Brooks got the hang of it pretty quickly.

These two diva bunnies were pro's at hiding Easter eggs! :)

After our egg hunt, we shot some hoops!

And then enjoyed our egg hunt winnings.

This boy was all tuckered out from his day of play!

Dylan and I went to shop at Alice and Jay and then onto Mark's melon patch for some ice cream.

 Check out this stud!

Easter Sunday was so lovely!  Here's mama's pretty table complete with a fun, burlap runner!

Her beautiful cross door hanger.

The Easter Bunny visited with some goodies for Brooks! And we got to see Aunt Bobbie for Easter lunch!!

My sweet family.
