Friday Favorites x 6

It’s Friday!  Woop!  Fun-filled weekend in store for this chick.  Tonight, girl’s night out at Two Urban Licks …can.not.wait.   Yummy food, great wine, and all the trendies in the ATL.  Tomorrow, quality time at home with Dylan and our lil munchkins, some cleaning and decorating, then our 4 month anniversary dinner!  Husband asked me out on a date and I happily accepted.  He’s so good to me!  Then on Sunday, church at North Point followed by a walk with Abbey then Super Bowl time {I'm only in it for the food}.  The forecast calls for rain but I plan to push right through that slight hindrance and enjoy every minute regardless!  Oh, and how could I forget!  "Target practice" at some point to show those chipmunks who's boss.

Now, for Friday Favorites.  Have a fab weekend!
1. Gettin Organized!  Thank you Target for having so many fun notebooks, calendars, and binders to choose from.  In an effort to keep up my New Year's resolution of being more organized, I purchased this cheapo but super cute notebook.  I use it to keep up with bills, to make grocery lists, to jot down recipe ideas or home decor ideas, and to doodle a little {yes I said doodle. I still like to draw flowers and butterflies as I did in Junior High} : )  This particular notebook even has a monogrammed B!  It {and the entire Greenroom line at Target} is 60-70% recycled.  Hey, every little bit helps, right?
The photo looks big but the notebook actually fits in my handbag

 2. All things chalk!  Chalkboards for the home are quite the craze these days.  And no, I'm not just talking about for kids.  For adults.  For actual home decor.  Brilliant. So I purchased this one at an Alpharetta antique store for $10.  I use it to write Dylan little notes or to write our dinner menu on. They are literally sold everywhere now but if you don't have a fave antique store, check out any school supply store or craft store.

3.  Gwyneth Paltrow's, My Father's Daughter, cookbook.  Filled with delicious, healthy recipes, great tips, and stories from Gwyneth's childhood and current life. Sold at Barnes and Noble.  I {and my sister, Leah} highly recommend the slow-roasted tomatoes.
 4.  Gold and Red Jewelry!  Particularly from Francesca's.  I love this store.  Its very affordable and has super cute, comfy, trendy clothes, jewelry, and shoes.  You can find this store in most shopping malls and some shopping centers.  I've had these three items for a while but they are still so fun to me!
Huge gold ring, gold earrings, red and gold necklace
5.  For the pup, all things Boots and Barkley.  This line offers many different types of treats but we purchase the T-Bones and the Beef Hide "Chew Chews."  These are sold at Target and are Abbey's favorites. Besides a real T-Bone that is.  Abbey and Sushi's collar are both Boots and Barkley brand as well.

6.  Thought I'd stop at #5 today but there's a store that I've fallen in love with.  Sounds crazy, especially because we have sooooo many home decor shops in Roswell, Alpharetta, and Atlanta.  Crazy, maybe, but still true.  Drum rollllll......Kirklands!  Who'd a thunk it?  I'm tellin ya, they have the best sales on beautiful artwork, pillows, candles, vases, lamps, etc.  Here are our favorites from there that help to warm up our walls.  Go visit a Kirkland's near you!
